Season’s greetings 2023

Dear Members,

 

The year 2023 is coming to an end. It is the first year after Covid, and the GMI members could meet in person again at the conference in Budva, Montenegro. It was so great to see you all after the long pause!

Our thanks go to all conference attendees for their ongoing interest, and hearty thanks to our sponsors, speakers, our Members Zoran Lasica and Matthias Mink for their outstanding support in organizing this conference.

As per your vote at the AGM, we will strive for a 2024 conference in autumn, most likely around mid of October.

Your good ideas will help us tremendously in the organization, please let us know!

As you know, Dr. Yusuf Civelekoğlu, our former Chairman, decided to step down. We thank him again for years of service to our community at this opportunity.

The present Steering Committee would really appreciate YOUR active contribution to our community and therefore ask YOU to consider to join the Board!

We as the Board, traditionally meet up in Düsseldorf during the “DüsselBOOT” Boatshow to discuss in person the upcoming year and to plan the year.

For 24 – 26. January 2024, we have kept two rooms spare for Members interested in joining the Board. Please think about joining, and let us know in a timely manner, as the hotel will need a decision soon.

This is the ultimate chance to get a “soft start” into the Board, and we will take the time to make you acquainted with the fun. Take it!
